The beauty of life is loving and caring about humankind. It breaks my heart to listen to children, adolescents and even adults who have been bullied. In my opinion, a bully leaves on its victim an emotional scar that gives the appearance that it is has healed with time but unfortunately the trauma was so severe that in reality, the scar actually remains as vibrant and fresh as it was the day it was initially inflicted. This work is a collection of authentic stories, poems, views, acronyms and reflections about bullying. You are encouraged to use this book as a learning tool to teach, reflect upon and promote open dialogue regarding the short-term and long-term effects of bullying. It is my hope that the authentic experiences with bullying complied in this work will somehow aid in the healing process of those victimized. Please journey with me as we now honor the once silenced voices and views of the victims who have now been given the opportunity through this book to share their experiences and possible solutions to the pain and anguish that many of them carry to this day. Collectively, the contributors expressed that just having the opportunity to finally have their “say” helped them bring some closure to their life-long haunting bullying experiences as they expressively and emphatically state, “Please Don’t Bully Me!”
