A generous kind and giving person her entire life, Dr. Denise Voncille Woods born in the Bronx, is a native New Yorker. Denise is a veteran educator with more than 25 years in education. Her experience includes being a classroom teacher, assistant principal and teacher center staff developer; she also served in the capacity of a school administrator in a school for students with special needs. She prides herself on creating caring nurturing learning environments where students have a strong sense of belonging and can grow socially, emotionally and academically.

    Dr. Woods has 4 college degrees which include a Bachelor of Science (Siena College,1982), a Master’s of Science in Education (Lehman College, 1989), a Master of Science in Education with a specialization in Educational Leadership (Fordham University, 2000) and a Doctorate of Philosophy with a specialization in Teaching and Learning (Capella University, 2005). She also holds 3 New York State Permanent licenses in education. (School District Administrator, School Administration Supervision and Nursery through sixth grade).

    She authored the quote, “When you do things from the heart and expect nothing in return, something in return always comes...unexpected blessings!” This is substantiated in her first book entitled, “Love and Kindness Know No Color,” ...a true testament of her good deeds and caring heart.

   Dr. Woods proudly states that the other Dr. Woods’ and her three sons are the precious joys in her life. A high achiever her entire life, she has always believed “Education is aprecious priceless gift... once you have it no one can take it away!”
